About

A ‘Real Life’ Chat Room

History

The Manning Net is facilitated by local women to provide an opportunity for women in the Manning region to network and socialise with each other in a "real life" chat room.

Given the busy lives that women lead, we have ensured that The Manning Net is an informal group and do not have office bearers or any bureaucracy. The Manning Net is organised by local women who volunteer their time and skills.

Our group was established in 2006 and has continued to grow, with the original facilitators still committed to the vision of the Manning Net as being informal but inspirational.

Please feel free to contact us for more information, to RSVP to the next forum, or provide any feedback.

Our Usual Format

See the calendar page for meeting details, and the contact page to RSVP - generally held on the LAST Thursday of each month from February to November.

The cost for the evening is $35 (cash only please as we do not have EFT facilities), which includes a two-course meal plus an entertaining speaker. Please let us know of any special dietary requirements. The meal time allows for networking with fellow attendees and is then followed by our guest speaker.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP by 10 am on the Monday preceding the event. It is important to RSVP on time, we cannot accept late RSVPs as it creates confusion for our caterers. We will be required to pay for numbers advised to the venue, so if for any reason you have booked but then can't attend, please contact us to advise and, if possible, find someone to take your place and inform us of their name - or arrange to pay at a later date.

Please remember you will always receive a response email to confirm your name is on the list. Please contact us again if this does not occur.

Why Not Join Us?

The Manning Net is a friendly, informal and welcoming group. We welcome new ‘netters’ and would invite you to come along and experience our network.
