We are departing from our usual format with the opportunity to visit and have a guided tour around Taree Universities Campus (TUC) with the CEO (and Net facilitator) Donna. She will show us around the facility and fill us in on all the great achievements made since the inception of this fabulous, and still young, community facility.
A sit-down meal will be provided on site prepared by Dundaloo catering.
Join us to discover how Taree Universities Campus (TUC) is expanding access to higher education and building a stronger Mid Coast workforce.
Since welcoming its first students in 2021, TUC has grown to support over 1000 registered students with 24/7 study facilities, technology, academic mentoring and wellbeing support.
The presentation will highlight how TUC helps regional students overcome distance, cost and isolation while supporting mature-age learners, first-in-family students and First Nations students.
You’ll also hear about the CROWD initiative, which connects regional opportunities for workforce development through workforce attraction, school career pathways, alternatives to ATAR entry and Biripi-led cultural orientation.
The session will showcase TUC’s commitment to helping more people study locally, build meaningful careers and strengthen the Mid Coast.
Note re. parking: At our meeting time adequate parking is available in Pulteney and Victoria Streets. River Street parking is also available but is currently gravel surface – and an uphill walk to the entrance.
